Our Business: Welcome to Cotton Boll Pollinators LLC, your trusted source for quality honey bees and beekeeping supplies. We are a small, family owned and operated business whose mission is to provide top-quality products and service to our customers. Cotton Boll Pollinators LLC is located in the Coastal Plains region of Eastern North Carolina (near I-95), in the middle of North Carolina’s Cotton Belt where agriculture continues to be the predominant industry and economic driver of this area. Our apiary is located on our family’s farm, also in Eastern North Carolina. We strive to better serve all members of the beekeeping community in the Eastern United States, whether it be the hobbyist beekeeper, commercial pollinators, commercial honey extractors, and other apiaries like us. We are a member of the NC State Beekeepers Association, licensed by the NC Department of Agriculture & Consumer Services, abide by our state’s regulatory requirements, and our bees are inspected by the state Dept. of Agriculture apiarist prior to sale.

Personal: My wife and I have dedicated our lives and careers to the betterment of the agriculture industry in North Carolina and beyond, through service to farmers, promotion and awareness to the general public, instilling an appreciation for agriculture, life sciences, food, and nature in others, and encouragement of students to pursue careers in this industry. Our passion for agriculture led us to develop a sincere appreciation for apiculture and the honey bee, as bees serve as one of the most critical components to the abundant, affordable, sustainable, and nutritious food supply that we enjoy in this country. Many of the fruits and vegetable crops that are commonly grown in this area, and consumed by a much larger population across the country, are directly dependent on the honey bee as their primary pollinator species.

Community: We have found that beekeepers of all sorts are some of the most congenial people you will find. The beekeeping community is very supportive of one another, and very willing to help and offer guidance to both new and experienced beekeepers. The comradery of this community is unmatched, therefore we strongly encourage our customers, or anyone interested in beekeeping, to join and participate in their local bee club or state beekeepers association. As such, we at Cotton Boll Pollinators LLC also appreciate our other neighboring apiaries and we foster an attitude of supporting them and other local small businesses.

Gratitude: We consider agriculture, our abundant food supply, nature and wildlife, and the opportunity to pursue our small business as true blessings from God. As a Christian-based family business, we intend to donate 10 percent of our profits to missions efforts annually, to further His Kingdom.
